9:15-1:00 pm - Tours will visit two of OUC’s cooling plants – Downtown North Plant and the Universal Plant.
The Downtown North Plant was constructed in 2004 and is one of three plants feeding the downtown Orlando chilled water loop. The Universal Plant was constructed in 2023 and feeds Universals’ newest park with 20,000 tons capacity using variable primary pumping with parallel/series counterflow chiller design and eight Trane Duplex centrifugal chillers.
The bus will drop participants at Orlando International Airport before returning to the Renaissance Hotel.
